RADO POLIC- UNDERWRITING MANAGER

Rado Polic joined Brooklyn (previously Oceanic Underwriting) in 1995 as a Commercial lines Underwriter and was responsible for the development of the Property & liability portfolio. During his time at Oceanic, Rado was a part of a team that was responsible for successfully negotiating Property Binders at Lloyds’.

Rado has 14 years experience in the general insurance market commencing his career with the Guardian Royal Exchange (GRE) in 1988, developing his skills in all facets of general insurance and claims. Rado joined the Zurich Insurance Group in 1992 following their acquisition of GRE and was responsible for administering/servicing his own intermediary panel in an account executive capacity.

ANDREW AITKEN – PROFESSIONAL RISKS MANAGER

Before joining Brooklyn in January 2007, Andrew held underwriting and business development roles with a major insurer specialising in Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Information Technology, Malpractice, Defamation, Employment Practices, Superannuation Trustees, Office Bearers and Association Liability insurance.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance and Marketing from Macquarie University.

ROB MOFFITT - IT&T CONSULTANT

Rob has worked in the insurance industry since 1992 and has held a number of senior executive positions specializing in the underwriting of IT&T risks since 1996. In that time he has worked for and represented a number of US and UK insurers who specialize in IT&T risks. Rob holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree, has a Graduate Diploma in Financial Services and is a Chartered Accountant.

Rob is responsible for the strategy and technical underwriting of Brooklyn’s IT&T practice and products.

PETER MATHEWS - MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Peter has worked in the Insurance Industry since 1974 and has worked as an Underwriter, Insurance Broker and a Financial Partner of a Law firm. His role has been mainly business development and client relationship management.
Peter is well known to the industry and has been responsible for a number of initiatives relating to new product and scheme facilities for clients.
Peter has both qualifications in General and insurance broking and is a QPIB member as well as a senior associate of ANZIFF.
He is well known in both the London and Australian Insurance Market and can understand the problems that Brokers encounter with Clients. Peter has the experience to be able to assist Brokers in development of products suitable to their clients
